Foreign Direct Investment represents a vast array of economic activity in San Jose. From research and development activities to investment in local property, the San Jose Office of Economic Development is currently undertaking targeted efforts to attract foreign companies planning to establish operations in the United States, especially in clean technologies, life sciences, and information technology/services.
