Spay/Neuter Programs

The City of San José offers a low-cost spay/neuter clinic at the San Jose Animal Care Center. The clinic operates by appointment only. FOR INFORMATION OR TO REQUEST AN APPOINTMENT, CLICK HERE.

Use our online request system for faster service. If you are unable to submit your request online, you can leave a message on our appointment mailbox by calling (408) 794-7201. We will contact you within 7 business days to schedule your appointment. Please be aware that for some animals, the earliest available appointments may be up to 2 months away. We perform approximately 35 surgeries each day. We apologize for any inconvenience, and we greatly appreciate your patience.

Because our low-cost spay/neuter clinic operates below cost donations are welcome and appreciated. You can make your donation on-site or click here to download and print a form to mail in.
